  1. Summary of How to Start T4T as a Movement

  2. 1. Set a Time and Place to Meet 2. Invite up to 7 Committed Christians (Call them G1 Group – Generation 1) 3. Present this Summary

  3. T4T Is A Process Teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others. II Timothy 2:2b The Purpose of T4T is to Train Trainers!

  4. Have G1 Group: Take a few minutes and make a list of people they know that are away from God Now take a few minutes and have them write Their story. Their story should be brief and become a bridge to the Gospel. Remind them of Christ’s Commission

  5. Jesus’ Great Commission: Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:19-20 1. Go, Not Come 3. Make Trainers, Not Just Church Members 2. Everybody, Not Just Some

  6. Converts will build a church. Disciples will Change the World!!

  7. Be Careful of the Deception of Information exchange. Biblical instructions and commands MUST be ACTED upon. True Christianity is an active lifestyle. It is Not just attending meetings and absorbing Information!! Information MUST lead to TRANSFORMATION!

  8. During the Next Week, each member of G1 should Witness to Five of the People on their List, tell them their Story, Bridge to the Gospel, and Call them to Commitment Remember the Purpose of T4T is to Train Trainers! Have G1 members meet with those that said YES to their call to commitment at a different Time/Place Call them G2 (Generation 2) Meet Again with G1 In a Week; Same Time and Place Using the T4T Seven Part meeting format, Repeat Session 1 With G1

  9. Have one of the G2 Christians agree to host a group meeting in their home A G1 Christian will conduct T4T Sessions in that home Don’t forget the Purpose of T4T is to Train Trainers!

  10. Use your Holy Spirit discernment to identify one or two leaders in the G2 group. Appoint them as Leaders (Elders or Overseers.) Provide Vision Casting to the new Elder(s) and instruct them to pass it on to the other G2 members.

  11. Meet with the G2 Group and take them through the T4T Session about the Church Arrange to baptize New G2 Christians that have not been baptized by emersion as youth or adults. Have the Elders serve the Lord’s Supper to those that have become Christian Teach and Practice Stewardship as a means of worship

  12. This G2 Group has now become a G2 church! Their Elder(s) should continue weekly meetings and present additional T4T sessions to them. Members of each G2 Church should start G3 (third generation) groups and repeat this summary process.

  13. T4T is a simple, Bible based, process for bringing multitudes into the Kingdom. If you have an obedient spirit, You can be used to start a Spiritual Awakening across your Country!! www.churchplantingmovements.com www.lostsheepministries.com

  14. End of the T4T Summary End Summary 

  15. The Great Commission says we are to go, not invite people to come to us. We must go where the lost are. This is going to mean an ever-expanding wave of evangelism into factories, homes, classrooms, shops, and neighborhoods.

  16. The verse says to make disciples of all, not just a few. We typically choose whom we want to share the gospel with. We try to pre-judge who might accept it. But God said to share with everyone. We cannot predict who will accept the gospel and whom God will use to birth a movement

  17. We are often satisfied if someone will believe and join our church. But the command Jesus gave us is so much more. He wants these new believers to be true disciples. And what do disciples do? Every disciple is to learn how to obey Jesus’ commands, including witnessing to others and then training these new believers to repeat the process. Every disciple should become a trainer.
