  2. THE PRETTY LITTLE STATUES • GAME’S RULES • Children move freely in the playing-field. One child, standing in the middle, after some time • he says :” PRETTY” LITTLE STATUES, ARE YOU READY? • When he stops speaking children have to bring to a standstill like pretty statues. • If a child moves, he’s out. The winner is the last child standing in the playing-field. • You can change the subject of the sentence and say: • UGLY LITTLE STATUES, or FRIGHTENING LITTLE STATUES or FUNNY LITTLE STATUES and children have to bring to a standstill like ugly, frightening or funny statues and so on.

  3. THE SPANKING GAME • GAME’S RULES • Children are in circle except one walking around it • He spanks a child standing in the circle. Both of them start running toward opposite directions in order to reach the empty space of the circle where the spanked child was. • The child who reaches the empty space before stands in circle with the other children, while the other one starts to walk around the circle to spank another child.

  4. THE WITCH ORDERING ABOUT COLOURS • GAME’S RULES • A child is the witch. He chooses a colour. • Children start running to touch something of the chosen colour • The witch runs after the children in order to catch a child before he touches an object of that colour • The catched child becomes the witch and the game starts again

  5. ONE, TWO, THREE STAR GAME’S RULES All children stand in a line while a child, facing the wall and with his back to the other children, says: ONE, TWO, THREE STAR and turns. The other children move toward the wall while the child is counting but they have to stop when he turns. If someone doesn’t stop he turns back to the starting line. The game starts again. The winner is the child who first arrives to the wall saying “STAR” before the child counting says “Star”

  6. STEAL A FLAG • GAME’S RULES • You need 10 to 20 children and a piece of material( the flag) or a handkerchief • Divide children in 2 teams (A and B). Children of A team stand in a line, everyone facing a child of the B team standing in a line far about 10 to 20 meters. • Children of the 2 teams have a number so that the A team player number 1 faces the B team player number 1 and so on. • One child is the game leader standing half way between the two players having number 1. The two teams decide the final score before starting the game • The leader holds a flag or a handkerchief in his hand and says a number, for example 4. The two players being number 4 run towards the leader in order to catch the flag. • If a child catches the flag and run back to his place scores one point, but if he is touched by the other child while he’s running before he arrives to his place the other team scores one point. • The winner is the team with the best score

STOP THE MUSIC • GAME’S RULES • You need some hoops and music • Put some hoops on the floor, you have to put one hoop less than the children are. • Children run around the hoops when music is playing but they have to go into the hoops when the music stops. One child can’t have a hoop so he’s out. • Take off one hoop and starts again the game. • The winner is the last child standing in the last hoop when the music stops

  8. FOUR CORNERS • GAME’S RULES • Only five children can play this game. • You need to draw a square with 5 meters sides. Four children stands at the four corners and one child is in the middle of the square. • Children standing at the corners start to exchange seats each other while the child in the middle tries to reach an empty corner before another child reaches it. • The child who can’t take an empty corner stands in the middle of the square and the game starts again

  9. THE FISHING - NET • GAME’S RULES • Children are divided in 2 teams (A and B). Children of the A team are the “fishing-net”, they are in circle holding by the hand themselves with stretched arms. Children of the B team are “the fishes”. • The A team children choose a number speaking it under their’s breath so that the B team children can’t understand what number is it • The A team children start to count while the B team children come in and out the circle walking under the A team children arms • When the A team children count the last number they put their arms down and the children standing inside the fishing- net give up the game. The A team children start to count again • The game finishes when only one child is outside the circle when the A team counts the last number

  10. GAME’S RULES • Children are divided in 2 teams (A and B), they mark the playing-field with a half-way line. Each team marks out a line opposite the half-way line in order to create a prison. • A child of the A team throws the ball into the B playing-field trying to hit a child • If a child of the B team is hit he becomes a prisoner and goes into the A team prison • But if a child of the B team catches the ball, the child of the A team who threw the ball becomes a prisoner of the B team • If you want to free a prisoner of your team you have to throw the ball to him and he has to catch it. If he catches the ball he’s free and come back to his team playing-field • Players never can surpass the playing-field’s lines • The winner team is that one having got more prisoners than the other one at the end of the match THE IMPRISONER BALL

  11. THE POISONED BALL • GAME’S RULES • You need 10 to 20 players and 1 ball • Mark the playing-field with a half-way line. Children are divided in 2 teams, each team stands in its playing field. • Before starting children decide which team starts the game and fix the time the match will finish • A child of the A team throws the ball into the B playing-field trying to hit a child. If a child of the B team is hit he is out • The winner team is that one having more players when the time finishes
