Beta Club : Shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child are due no later than Monday, Nov. 14 in the library. There will be a HOSA meeting on Thursday, Nov. 17. All HOSA members need to see Mrs. Doka to get a pass for the HOSA yearbook picture and to pick up their HOSA t-shirt.

  1. Beta Club: Shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child are due no later than Monday, Nov. 14 in the library.

  2. There will be a HOSA meeting on Thursday, Nov. 17. All HOSA members need to see Mrs. Doka to get a pass for the HOSA yearbook picture and to pick up their HOSA t-shirt.

  3. Anime Club will meet immediately after school every Thursday.

  4. Student Council is having a pancake breakfast on Nov. 19. See a student council ember or Mrs. McClellan in Room 226to purchase a ticket for $5.00.

  5. First Prioritywill meet Wednesday at 7:30 A.M. in Room 116.

  6. Sophomores: Jostens will be here to deliver class rings in the cafeteria at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, Nov. 10. You must have all money prepaid or the balance with you to pick up your class ring that day.

  7. Track is having a yard sale this Saturday at East High! Donations are welcome.

  8. Please bring canned and dry food to be donated to the Daily Bread. NAC has boxes set out in the cafeteria to collect donations. Donations will be accepted until Nov. 18.

  9. Now get the latest news and info from East High on your phone! Simply go to http://winksite.mobi/mhhselibrary/main in your mobile web browser OR search for Winksite and then go to Mobile Sites and search for MHHSE. Do this on your phone! If you go to the site on the computer, it will just take you to the Library page. Set it as a favorite (or your homepage!) and stay caught up on everything going on at our school!

  10. Juniors: Prom fundraising orders and money are due back Nov. 11. Remember, to be eligible for prom committee you must participate in the fundraiser. This includes any seniors wanting to be on prom committee. To be eligible for the lollipop draw and top sales person award of $100.00 plus a free couple’s ticket to prom, orders and money have to be in by Nov. 11 to Mrs. Fowler in Room 220.

  11. Attention Juniors: In order to take the ACT during school on March 20, you must sign up in the Guidance Office by Nov. 11 at 3:00 P.M. Only those students who sign up will be allowed to test that day.

  12. There will be an FCCLA meeting immediately after school on Nov. 10 in Room 225. It is important that all members attend this meeting.

  13. Any junior that would prefer to take the ACT on a Saturday rather than at school must get a voucher from Guidance prior to signing up for the ACT.

  14. Seniors: If you would like to help with the Prom Fundraiser, stop by Room 220 and pick up a sales brochure from Mrs. Fowler. All help is greatly appreciated. If you are the top sales person, you can win $100.00 plus a free couple’s ticket to prom!

  15. Seniors: Friday, Nov. 11, during your lunch time, Jostens will be in the teacher work area to finalize Senior Supply orders for graduation.

  16. On Tuesday, Nov. 15, Yearbook will be taking club pictures. We hope to start at 8:30 A.M. More information will be sent out soon. A club roster is needed from all sponsors. On a side note, on Nov. 16, during 2nd period, some senior classes will meet in the auditorium.

  17. There will be a community-wide Veterans Program on Thursday, Nov. 10, at Walters State’s Expo Center. Pizza and hot dogs will be available at 5:00 P.M. The military parade and program will begin at 6:15 P.M.
