This challenge is more manifest in IAS matrimonial life as they are couples in active services striving to meet their public and private responsibilities. The life of an IAS officer and their partner is filled with specific characteristics determined by the principles of service, goals, and affection. Being a civil servant of class one, IAS officers are conferred with massive administrative power and obligation; often having long working hours, frequently transferred officers, and duty to make decisions affecting large masses. This stressful occupation can put stress on the partnership, deriving from which partners need to have a proper foundation for their marital bond. The spouse is always a significant factor supporting the IAS officer in every way including managing the homes and shifting from place to place whenever the IAS officer is transferred. Nonetheless, IAS matrimonial life also has its prospects by presenting a colorful palette of events.
