Nevus/Mole. By: Caitlin Bighem. Mole – not cancerous, skin abrasion made of color producing cells of the skin. They usually grow evenly in all directions. A nevus’s growth is effected by the role of sun exposure and heredity. A mole present at birth is a congenital nevus.
