  3. Hockey Education Program • Mission Statement To create an environment in Minnesota for all involved in hockey to succeed to their fullest potential and to have fun doing so.

HEP 2004 - 2005 • Face Off Event – September 25, 2004 – Xcel Center • 1,600 Parents, Coaches and Officials Attended • Fair Play Rules Implemented in All Leagues • 106 Associations Acquired HEP Materials • Parent/Coach Education Manuals and DVD’s • Skill Development/Tests Manuals and Evaluations

HEP Implementation Planning • Begin with planning your association implementation of the Education and Skill Developments of HEP • Implementation will likely vary from association to association • Local association ACE Coordinator providing leadership • HEP Implementation is a big job so others will need to be involved

Website – Entering Test Times • Go to Minnesota Hockey Website – www.minnesotahockey.org • Click on “HEP” on left side of page • Click on “Admin” at bottom of page • Enter Username and Password • Contact Dave Margenau at dmargenau@aol.com for username and password • Click on “Association User” • Click on “Click Here” to edit HEP • Select and follow instructions from • Manage Team Names • Manage Players • Run Reports • Change Password • Complete instructions available from HEP page of Minnesota Hockey website

Ordering Materials • No cost to associations for materials • Based on your association plan determine your needs • Use any inventory from last year • Order form provides guideline to quantities • Order form on Minnesota Hockey Website • Order materials for entire association • Fax form to 952-392-2018 • Allow 4 to 6 days for delivery
