MELODIE… ▸ Name - Elodie Jones ▸ Age - 22 ▸ Gender - female ▸ Ethnicity - Caribbean/English ▸ Brief life summary - Born in Buckinghamshire, a county that borders London to the sound-east, lived with her parents and younger brother, attended school and college in her area, moved to London after her A-levels to focus on her music career

HER MUSIC CAREER… ▸ She has had a passion for singing from an early age ▸ She is very bright and always performed well in school but she particularly excelled in the creative subjects - she performed in plays and concerts at school ▸ She started using equipment in her music classrooms to make beats and melodies for songs ▸ She started at college where she studied Music and Music Tech and used her college’s studios to record original songs, which she then uploaded to Spotify ▸ From there she was signed and now works with a label ▸ She has produced an EP and has been able to play small gigs but COVID has meant that she hasn’t been able to do any live performances ▸ She wants to work with bigger artists in the future that inspired her work - such as Loyle Carner, Kali Uchis, Ella Mai, etc

HER LOOK… ▸ Long dyed braided hair (below the waist) - changes a lot ▸ 90’s/tomboy style clothing - baggy trousers, long shorts, oversized hoodies and jackets, lots of jewellery and sunglasses ▸ Social media consists of very ‘fun’ posts - doesn’t act overly serious and allows people to see her real personality and life ▸ Down to earth, humble, relatable and therefore likeable
