  1. Everything you should know about HDPE pipes! HDPE or high density polyethylene is a synthetic polymer which is made from petroleum and is frequently used in making of plastic bottles, water pipes and many other piping’s. As it is known for high density and large strength, HDPE has an average life span of more than 50 years. High Density polyethylene has been found in containers, bottles, helmets, and in many other domestic objects. As it is non-toxic, odorless, and tasteless, HDPE has a high volume of production across the globe. As there are many number of manufactures across the globe but you need to find the reliable ones to gain maximum number of benefits from HDPE pipes. A pipe does quite more than just convey industrial liquids from one location to a different. It must even be corrosion and abrasion resistant. It must be flexible and straightforward to put in, and maintain a high flow coefficient throughout its service lifetime of 50-100 years. And it must not leak. Polyethylene pipe is corrosion resistant and contains a long history of use as an abrasion resistant material in mining applications. It is lightweight, easy to put in, and reduces the quantity of fittings needed during a system due to its flexibility. Uses of HDPE Pipes HDPE pipes are light weight compared to other pipes such as iron or galvanized pipes. These flexible and reliable pipes include unmatched corrosion and chemical resistance. HDPE pipe are available in various size, color, dimension and length. As mentioned above, the UV –resistance makes it ideal for piping an outdoor application. Pipe grade has the ability of 220 to 180 degree Fahrenheit. As it is long-lasting in chemical interactions which makes it useful in many industrial applications. Now we will see some of the advantages and disadvantages of HDPE Pipes:- There are many advantages and disadvantages you should consider before using HDPE Pipes: Advantages include: It is cost effective. It can resist temperature from 148 to 176 Fahrenheit. It’s one of the best advantages include Non-leaching and UV resistant. It is also resistant to many of the chemical solvents. It is stiff materials.

  3. Disadvantages HDPE disadvantages include poor weathering resistance. It is inflammable and is sensitive to stress cracking. And is also difficult to bond.
