Educational Programsfor Older Drivers • Educational programs targeted at older drivers are pervasive. • Some are national programs, others are more regional, and some have been developed out of research programs. • Some are classroom, some are individualized, and some are social marketing based. Educational Programsfor Older Drivers • The programs represented today are educational. • There are other programs that combine assessment with education and also rehabilitation. • But in selecting programs for today’s workshop, we focused on education -- imparting information to older drivers.
