TAMBAHAN TENTANG ALLOY EMAS. Banyaknya emas dalam suatu alloy dapat diketahui dari salah satu cara sebagai berikut: Ukuran karat : banyaknya emas yang terdapat dalam 24 bagian suatu alloy. Emas 24 karat adalah emas murni (kandungan emas 100%) Emas 18 karat mengandung 18/24 atau 75% emas.

  1. TAMBAHAN TENTANG ALLOY EMAS • Banyaknya emas dalam suatu alloy dapat diketahui dari salah satu cara sebagai berikut: • Ukuran karat: banyaknya emas yang terdapat dalam 24 bagian suatu alloy. Emas 24 karat adalah emas murni (kandungan emas 100%) Emas 18 karat mengandung 18/24 atau 75% emas

  2. 2. Ukuran Fineness • Menentukan banyaknya kandungan emas per 1000 bagian alloy. • Emas 24 karat adalah 1000 fine • Emas 18 karat adalah 750 fine

PEMAKAIAN DI KEDOKTERAN GIGI • Alloy tipe I: digunakan pada keadaan dimana tidak ada beban besar (pada kavitet Klas III dan V) • Alloy tipe II: digunakan untuk segala tipe inlay • Alloy tipe III: digunakan untuk keperluan mahkota dan jembatan, dan pd keadaa dimana ditemui beban yang sangat besar • Alloy tipe IV: digunakan untuk gigi tiruan sebagian tuangan
