  1. Mr. Bennett Shows you What To Do On The First Day Of School

  2. Class of 2018 Welcome to El Camino Real Charter High School! • The first class you will go to on the first day of school is your Reg Room

  3. What’s a Reg Room? • Reg Room is an abbreviation for Registration Room • It is a temporary homeroom that you will be in for approximately one week • In Reg Room you will hear the morning announcements and will receive additional information about school

  4. Where is my Reg Room? • Your Reg Room is listed on your class schedule. • Also, there will be Reg Room signs posted in the lobby and hallways • The sign is divided into 4 sections • One section for each grade level Reg Room 9th 10th 11th 12th

  5. Find Your Reg Room • Each grade level section is divided alphabetically by last name • A 9th grade student with the last name “Camino” would have Reg Room in room C228 with Mr. Asarch

  6. The rest of the day • After Reg Room you will go to first period and will follow this schedule

  7. Nutrition • Our nutrition break occurs after second period and is 16 minutes long • You can bring your own snack or buy something from the cafeteria • You can eat anywhere on campus, but most people go out to the quad area

  8. Lunch • Our lunch break occurs after fourth period and is 39 minutes long • You can bring your own lunch or buy something from the cafeteria • Most people eat in the covered eating area or the quad. • You can’t eat in the building unless you’re in a classroom for a club meeting.

  9. The rest of the week • Wednesday you will be on the same schedule as Tuesday • Thursday and Friday you will go to Reg Room AFTER first period.

  10. The Second Week of School • After the first week of school, you will not have to go to Reg Room • Your first period class will be your homeroom
