what is peer pressure
What is PEER PRESSURE?

When your peer or peer group influences /encourages you to do things you may not want to do. They may (often) threaten you that they will not be friends with you if you do not listen to them. They may also say that you are not COOL if you do not do what they want you to.

Peer pressure can be both negative and positive. For example, if your peer group is asking you to stop abusing substance, bunking classes, or being naughty the pressure is POSITIVE but on the other hand, if your peer is influencing /forcing you to do drugs, drink, bunk etc then it is NEGATIVE PEER PRESSURE.
