Final Assignment • Make a nutritious meal that contains all of the food groups and resembles the new My-Plate Icon • Must include • Recipe and step by step directions • Step by step and final product picture • 7 paragraph essay on the nutritional benefits of each food on the plate

Chili • 1lb lean ground beef • 1 (15oz) can black beans • 1 (15oz) can pink beans • 1(10oz) can chipotles with adobo sauce • 1 (12oz) can roasted tomatoes Directions: Place ground beef, beans, chipotles, and tomatoes in a crock pot on low heat for 6-8 hours. *Serve with 1 serving (14 chips) of whole grain tortilla chips
