  3. eFreight enables high performance increases with data and message standards within all air-cargo supply chain partners Environmental benefits • In full-swing: Will be eliminating 7,800 t of paper p.a. worldwide in the entire industry –equivalent to 80 Boeing 747 freighters Process benefits – productivity, speed • Reduced paperwork, easier document handling, real-time processing • Potential for time- and manpower-savings Quality benefits – data quality, costs, security • No irregularities or delays due to missing documents • Reduced manual data input avoid data errors • Will increasingly help to bring transparency in the airfreight operations and thus helps also with security issues
