Revision is the same – no matter what course is being studied! • Organise notes, revision guides and other resources • Write a revision timetable • Plan in at least two hours a day revision at the weekends and throughout the Easter holidays • Revise actively -Re-write, summarise but not just sit and read notebooks –this rarely works, you need to get active

  5. Revision is the same for all science courses! Possible revision techniques: Flash cards (key concepts + info) Concept maps/spider diagrams Learning mats Past papers and mark schemes (make sure they look at 2012 courses) Learning checklists + glossaries Teach a ‘friend’ Write your own exam questions and practice them Solo hexagons Revision guides
