  2. Amazon Web Service Database Migration Service (AWS DMS) facilitates migration of databases securely to AWS. One of the critical advantages here is that during the migration process, the database at source is fully functional. Users, therefore, do not face stoppage of work or downtime. It is possible to migrate data with AWS DMS from the most-usedcommercial databases.

  4. User-friendly: With DMS AWS, the need for installing any drivers or applications or making changes to the source databases is not required. The database migration process can be started with just a few clicks on the AWS Management Console. The migration function is fully automated and DMS manages the entire activity by replicating all changes in the data in the source database.

  5. Insignificant Downtime: DMS AWS facilitates migration of databases to AWS without any stoppage of work or downtime. All changes to the data at source that occur during migration are automatically and continually replicated to the target database. Hence, whenever migration of databases is on, the source database remains fully functional and operational. The target database is kept synchronized with the source database after migration for as long as necessary.
