  1. How Much do You Know? • Can you answer some simple questions about your club, the game you play, and the sport as played at the highest level?

  2. Question 1 • What does WSSL stand for (it’s the league you all play in, and some of you might have won a League Championship in it)?

  3. Question 2 • Ann Arbor Arsenal may be famous in the Metro Detroit area, but what team is this, and where do they play?

  4. Question 3 • The University of Michigan has had a men’s varsity team for a number of years. Its coach once worked for Ann Arbor Arsenal. Who is he?

  5. Question 4 • Every boy playing the game – everywhere in the world – dreams of holding this. What is it, and what is its official name?

  6. Question 5 • One of the greatest honours in the game is to be chosen European Footballer of the Year. Who is this year’s winner, what club and what country does he play for?

  7. Question 6 • The rules of the game are made by the International Board of the sport’s governing body, FIFA. Four members at large sit on it, and four permanent members. Who are the permanent members, and why do they have special status?

  8. Question 7 • Two weeks ago, one of the greatest players ever to play the game died (his funeral is tomorrow). Who is he, what country did he play for, with what club did he win three European Cups?
