Created a Collaborative Culture…..We Changed our Attitude and our Behaviors • High Expectations for ALLstudents. • Higher level thinking. • Shared Responsibility between student, teacher and parents about learning. • Analyzing our instruction and the lessons that we teach to improve our instruction. • Facilitating Cooperative Learning / Independent Learning • Creating a framework for student learning. (objectives are visible and spoken, modeling is present, application and questioning occurs, assessment of student performance, data collection, interventions as needed and follow up occurs) • Our Passion is Present as we model life-long learning. (staff meetings, study groups, CIP, OISM, team meetings) “Most children learn early in school that mistakes are signs of weakness instead of data to use.” Saphire & Gower

How Many kids need the intervention? When can we start it? How will we pay for it? (REWARDS, 6 Minute Solution) • Tier 3- Parent Meetings, Data Collection, Monitoring Intervention, Change Instruction • Establish a Level of Accountability by ALL Parties Every Year • YOU CAN’T LET UP!

How will your children meet those expectations? “If you Believe it, You can Achieve it!”Nazzarine, Murphy & Schmidt
