    Most cameras use Perspective = flat film plane

    Panoramic cameras use Cylindrical

    Spherical or Fisheye are yet other mappings

    • Most like our perception

    • But distorts at wide angle

  • Cylindrical, Spherical are good for wide angles

    • Allows you to see whole field of view
