  2. The Rummy game is a multiplayer game played amongst a minimum of two persons and a maximum of six people. The idea is to defeat all the other players at the table by making sequences and sets of cards that are dealt to each player in the shortest time possible. The best way to do this is to hold on to matching cards and discarding the unwanted or unmatched cards.

  3. Most rules are very simple for players to understand and grasp and after playing a few practice games, anyone can graduate to be a pro. Indian Rummy can be played with 13 or 21 cards. The 13 card rummy version is the most popular because the game is quicker than when it is played with 21 cards. Within the 13 card game, there are several Indian Rummy Variations that can be played.

  4. 13 Card Pool Rummy • 13 Card Deals Rummy • 13 Card Points Rummy

  5. 13 Card Pool Rummy Pool Rummy is also known as ‘Syndicate’ and it is possibly the most played Rummy variant in India, especially when we speak of online Rummy games. It is a multiplayer game that can have 2 or 6 players at a table. Rummy Passion offers three different types of Pool Rummy:

  6. 13 Card Pool Rummy - 101 Points As players collect 101 points, they are eliminated from the game. The last player remaining is the winner.

  7. 13 Card Pool Rummy – 201 Points Similar to the 101 points variant, players get eliminated as soon as they collect 201 points. And again the last player remaining is declared the winner.

  8. 13 Card Pool Rummy – Best of 3 Three games are played and scores are added for each player. The one who accumulates the lowest number of points at the end of the three games is the winner.

  9. 13 Card Deals Rummy Deals Rummy Games are an interesting variation offered by RummyPassion.com where all players play a fixed number of deals. They play with a fixed number of chips which are pre decided at the beginning of the game. At the end of each deal, the winner takes all the chips of the losing players. When all the deals have been played through, each player’s chips are added. The player who ends up with the maximum number of chips is the winner of the prize pool.

  10. 13 Card Points Rummy Points Rummy is catching on with many players in India. In this variant, each game is only a single deal. Players play for points which have been assigned a pre determined but fixed value. The winner receives a rupee value of the point multiplied by the sum of all points accumulated by the opponents. From this amount the rake is deducted.
