The Spring 2010 surveys conducted among faculty and students provided valuable insights into their perceptions of the Liberal Arts Core (LAC) at UNI. Faculty members responded to the length and quality of LAC courses, with 56.4% feeling the length is "just about right." Students expressed similar views, with 48.1% rating LAC courses as equally difficult as others. The strengths highlighted include faculty quality, a diverse range of coursework, and a well-rounded education. This feedback serves as a critical resource for ongoing improvement of the LAC curriculum.
