Rugged Partial Discharge MonitoringModuleforOEMs PD201 TheRuggedMonitoring PD201isacompactdesign, designed for reliabilityPartialDischarge(PD)MonitoringModule forTransformers, Switchgears,PowerCables and RotatingMachines. PD201 combines accuracy and easy to use software. It has two variants, 04 channeland08channels,thatcanconnectto4and8PDsensors respectively. The system can be integrated with wide range of PD sensors such as HFCT, TEV, Bushing Adaptors, Capacitive Couplers, Acoustic, and UltrasonicPDsensors. The PD201 connects to the HF PD sensors installed at the MV/HV assets. It measuresthe High Frequency (HF)signals emitted by the PDFaultsin HV/MV assets. The HF signals are then analyzed for PD activity and Module categorizespulsesasInternalPD,ExternalPDandNoiseSignals.InternalPD signalsarecaptured andstored for further analysissuchasPRPD,PD Amplitude, Discharge Rate and trending. The PD amplitude and discharge rateissenttothethird-partysystemviaModbus(RTU)protocolusingbuilt-in serial (RS-485) port. The PRPD data is stored in the module and sent to third partysystemviaCANBUSprotocolusingbuilt-inCANport.
