Overview • Three initiatives fully launched • CDA Consolidation addressing the “onion problem” and associated consistency issues in HITSP C32/C83 and associated specifications • Transition of Care to address the standard “molecules” of exchange at a clinical semantic level with mappings to CCR/CCD in support of Stage 1 & 2 Meaningful Use • Lab Interface Improvement to reduce cost and time of new ambulatory lab report interfaces through standardized Implementation Guide and terminology • We have a robust Initiative Committed Membership for each initiative, but would still welcome new committed organizations

Working with HITSC • We all have a lot to do • HITPC asked HITSC to address standards for Certificates and Directories • Draft meaningful use stage 2 recommendations from HITPC include many explicit and implicit asks to HITSC • The S&I Framework provides a approach for operationalizing these requests • A streamlined process and working model will help us all achieve the mission
