  14. CATS Program Approval Application

  15. Ongoing Improvement Efforts • Modify CTE Student Follow-Up Survey Process Goals: • Increase response rate for survey effort • Enhance available data needed for CTE program evaluation and improvement efforts Modifications: • Turn to direct communication from LEAs to students • Use PIMS and PIMS Reports Application to facilitate LEA involvement in survey process • Identify students targeted for survey • Identify student who have not responded • Provide response statistical reports

  16. Historic Perkins CTE Follow-Up (FLP) Survey Approach PDE mails reminders to students to complete Web survey. LEAs Submit CTE Student Data Students to complete FLP Web survey. PDE PIMS PDE Web-Based FLP Application Survey Student Data Loaded

  17. Modified Perkins CTE Follow-Up (FLP) Survey Approach LEAs notify students to complete Web survey. Response data feedback via PIMS Reports LEAs Submit CTE Student Data Students complete FLP Web survey. PDE PIMS PDE Web-Based FLP Application Student Response Data Transferred Survey Student Data Loaded

  18. Other Ongoing Improvement Efforts • Implement eScholar EDEN Solution Module • Facilitate generation of EDEN files directly from PIMS • Implement PIMS Data Quality Engine • Allow LEAs to cleans data extracted from local student information systems prior to submitting to PIMS • Reduce need for LEA quality control reports
