  3. MEAN!!!! • The mean (often called the average) is the sum of all the numbers divided by the amount of numbers in the data set.

  4. MEDIAN!!!! • The median is the middle number of a data set. The median can only be found when the data set is ORDEREDfrom LEAST TO GREATEST. • If you have two middle numbers, then you add them together and divide by 2.

  5. MODE!!!! • The mode is the number that occurs most frequently (often). • Remember, you can more than one mode OR you can have “no mode.”

  6. RANGE!!!! • The range is the difference between the upper extreme (the biggest number) and the lower extreme (the smallest number).
