Programme • Understand Base Plate • Al blank with dial guages • Al blank with ESPI • Glass blank with ESPI & gauges • Thermo-mechanical no powder • Measure with gauges • Reproduce RAL results • No module power • With module power • Q? repeat temp measurements? • Note different orientation • Q? Experiment with mounting ? • Check no further use for T-M module • Spray with powder • ESPI • Environmental Cool • Active Cooling • Active Cooling + module power • Odd power configurations • Different mounting schemes.

  4. Schedule • This will not be a ‘fast’ thing • RAL Measurements exist. • No purpose to ‘quick’ results • Understand base plate, new cooling,… • Confirm, understand existing measurements • Different mounting arrangements • Conjecture 2-3 months • Alterative mounting + 1 month • Switch to ESPI + 1 month • Programme is probably ~6months From when the replacement dial gauges available
