  2. OBJECTIVES OBJECTIVES • KVs primarily cater to the educational needs of the wards of transferable central Government employee including Institutions of Higher Learning like BHU. • KVs are co-educational. • KVs are affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi.

  3. HOW THE PROJECT KV IS DIFFERENT FROM OTHER KVs • Entire recurring and non-recurring expenditure of the Vidyalaya is borne by the project. • In project KVs (like BHU) there are eight categories of admission instead of seven in other KVs. • Children of BHU employees fall under category I and are given toppriority in admission. • Every project Vidyalaya is one of the central facility of the project. • Admission under KV TC are also made by the permission of Chairman. • The Chairman(VC BHU) has got special power to admit 12students from his quota.

  4. PRESENT STATUS OF THE VIDYALAYA • The Vidyalaya is having three sections in each class from I to X, two sections of Science, one section of Humanities and one section of commerce stream at +2 level. • Building of the Vidyalaya is having 70 rooms. • It has two Computer Labs each with 25 computers and internet facility through broadband of 2 Mbps speed. • A well equipped Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab, Biology Lab and Junior Science Lab. • A beautiful open Library with plenty of books for students and teachers. • A well equipped CMP room with 41” LCD TV, DVD Player, Home theatre, an LCD projector and 2 computers with internet facility.
