  1. In The Beginning • Started January 2, 2005 • 93 people in 1st service • 37 remained and formed beginning • congregation

  2. Core Values • Humility • Integrity • Obedience

  3. Pastor Romans 10:14 - “How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?”

  4. Pastor • The Pastor – who is the overseer of the flock – must watch out for his members’ souls. • Provides correction to his members - This involves at times exhorting against sin. This can sometimes involve correction and even though it may not be easy to take, it is necessary. • 3. Does everything with God’s help and in God’s strength - God clearly expects a lot of His Pastors but He doesn’t leave them to do it on their own and in their own strength and sufficiency.

  5. Pastor Philippians 4:13– I can do all things through CHRIST who strengthens me. II Corinthians 3:4-6 – And we have such trust through CHRIST toward GOD. Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from GOD, who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. Ephesians 4:11 – And HE Himself gave some to be Apostles, some Prophets, some Evangelists, and some Pastors and Teachers

  6. Pastor 4. A Shepherd according to God’s own heart - In Jeremiah, God gives a wonderful prophecy: Jeremiah 3:15 - I will give you Shepherds according to My heart who will feed you with knowledge, (of God) and understanding, (of His ways). 5. Available to his members, but his primary purpose is to spend time in the word and getting direction for God’s people: Acts 6:4 - but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.

  12. Our Vision To touch families for Christ regionally throughout Arizona by offering regional campuses of worship for the Kingdom of GOD

  13. Our Beliefs We believe the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are one God who manifested Himself in three ways. 2 Corinthians 13:14 - The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. We believe the Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, that He was born of a virgin. Matthew 1:23 - Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel; which is translated, “God with us.”

  14. Our Beliefs 3) We believe that Jesus lived a sinless life. Hebrews 4:15 - For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. 4) We believe in the work of the cross. I Corinthians 15:3 - For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures

  15. Our Beliefs 5) We believe that Jesus was resurrected from the dead. Romans 8:11 – But if the Spirit of HIM who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, HE who raised CHRIST from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through HIS Spirit who dwells in you. 6) We believe that Jesus sits at the right hand of God. Hebrews 12:2 - looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

  16. Our Beliefs • 7) We believe that man’s only hope for redemption is • through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. John 14:6 - • Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the • life. No one comes to the Father except through Me • 8) We believe that man is able to live a holy life by the • sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit. John 14:26 - But • the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send • in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to • your remembrance all things that I said to you

  17. Our Beliefs • We believe in baptism. Matthew 28:19 - Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy SpiritActs 2:4 -And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance • 10) We believe that God has given us all a measure of • grace according to our gifts. Ephesians 4:7 - But to • each one of us grace was given according to the • measure of Christ’s gift Romans 11:29-For the gifts • and the calling of God are irrevocable

  18. Our Beliefs 11) We believe in the five-fold ministries. Ephesians 4:11 - And He Himself gave some to be Apostles, some Prophets, some Evangelists, and some Pastors and Teachers 12) We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back for His church. John5:28- Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice

  19. A Pastor • Live by example • Continually pray and intercede • Spiritually feed the flock and tend to the sheep • Provide governmental oversight A Church • Fruits of the Spirit, especially love • Mercy • Salvation/Rededication • Growth and Influence Expectations:

  20. A Member • Born again • Be faithful in fellowship • Share your gifts/talents • Promote unity • Provide spiritual and financial support Expectations:

  21. Offices with Titles It is honorable and respectful to address the office/title of the individual – We currently have Pastors, Co-Pastors, and Ministers Proverbs 18:16 - A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men Previous titles do not transfer to KVCC. If you were previously licensed/ordained, your title is not automatically transferrable to KVCC.

  22. Get Involved! - It has been documented that 100% of ministry work is done by just 20% of the people in the local church. This 20% has now dwindled down to a staggering 8%! KVCC is here to break those statistics. The more people we have involved, the better we can serve our congregation and those who are first time visitors. How to Get Started

  23. 2) Find an area where you have a passion to serve. It is not KVCC’s desire to burn-out those that do serve on a regular basis. We ask that you consider each of our ministries and see where you have a passion to serve. How to Get Started

  24. 3) Find an area that works with your schedule. We understand that everyone has different schedules, so even if you can only serve one time a month, that will help us build God’s Kingdom, One Family at a Time! How to Get Started
