A heartfelt poem dedicated to students of Equity and Trusts, encouraging them to reflect on their learning, overcome stress, and perform their best in the upcoming final exams.
E N D
You have finished the midterm, assignment and tutorials, You’re almost done.
That you’ve learned more than you think, About trusts and equity,
With the final exams coming, I know you’re under a lot of stress,
I apologize for the times I made you feel inadequate or blue,
And when I have your exams before me in a pile as tall as a giraffe,
I will be kind in my marking by remembering the times you made me laugh.
Because in my memory I will remember your smiles, So kind and so bright.
Because despite my stern behavior and my cold, unsympathetic heart,
In this job, being with you, my students, Is my favorite part.
