  1. DSS CCP 856S • When a pRFID tag is added by a CCP an 856S (AS8) is constructed and exited to DAASC (subsequent to the original shipment’s 856S). • The CCP 856S is constructed to reflect the data in the original shipment’s 856S as well as the new/updated data respective to the CCP shipment. • Some of the potential data differences between the subsequent CCP 856S and the original shipment’s 856S are any combination of TCN, Mode, Ship Date, Media Status, Supplementary Address, Fund Code, Distribution Code, POE, Transportation Hold Code, and the new pRFID tag number (to include the absence of data). • It is recommended that DLMS receiving systems recognize the two 856S transactions for their intended purpose/data and “append” the CCP 856S data to their advantage vice merely “overlaying”. Once PDC-275 is approved as an ADC a new segment (BSN07*061) will be provided within the CCP 856S to distinguish it as being from a CCP. • DAAS will use the new code to identify the CCP 856S and will not forwarded as AS_ to MILS applications.
