The organization provides leadership, information, and resources to support member programs nationally and internationally, increasing knowledge of best practices for outreach and service programs. What is ANROSP? • Mission: To promote awareness and citizen stewardship of natural resources through science-based education and service programs • Vision: ANROSP envisions healthy ecosystems and communities through citizens who learn, teach, and practice natural resource stewardship
ANROSP Goals • To provide leadership, information, and resources to support the establishment and expansion of member programs nationally and internationally. • To serve as the primary nexus of information about natural resource outreach and service programs for natural resource professionals, volunteers, and interested citizens.
ANROSP Goals • To increase knowledge of best practices for natural resource outreach and service programs and encourage their adoption. • To build effective program partnerships and collaborations at local, state, and national levels.
ANROSP Organization • Governed by a Board consisting of natural resource professionals who manage and coordinate programs in 11 different states • Primary members of ANROSP are natural resource outreach & service programs, represented by program administrators and coordinators
ANROSP Provides Members: • Increased networking & resource exchange among program managers • Mentorship for developing programs • Start-up packets for developing programs, including answers to FAQs, templates for commonly used documents, curriculum outlines • Program manager listserv • Bibliography of publications involving Master Naturalist & related programs
