The Illinois Indians offer a comprehensive youth baseball program starting in November. With experienced high school coaches, we prioritize player recruitment, selection, and development. Practices occur twice weekly, focusing on all baseball skills and strength conditioning. Our partnership with PlayBall USA ensures each player benefits from unique training opportunities and college recruitment assistance. Why Play for the Indians? Partnership with PlayBall USA • All players receive PlayBall USA membership including unlimited access to all facility assets • Program starts in November with twice weekly practices • Practices continue through February, 14 weeks, 28 total practices • Training time devoted to all baseball skills plus strength and conditioning • PlayBall USA Head Coach assigned to each team • High School coaches are experienced, accomplished coaches • PlayBall USA college placement program • 140 Indians or PlayBall USA affiliated high school players have gone on to play at the college level • Supplemental training opportunities through PlayBall USA • Individual training lessons • Strength and conditioning programs

Year Timeline August / September • Tryouts completed, roster invitations ongoing • $350 payment confirms roster spot • Complete all necessary forms • Fallball programs available through the PlayBall USA October • Team meetings • Initial uniform and spirit wear orders made • Golf outing with proceeds towards new PlayBall USA Grand Opening November through February • Team practices start twice a week, 14 weeks, 28 total practices • Continue through February • Breaks during holiday weeks
Year Timeline March 1 – May 31 • Players go to High School teams • No Indians activities • 14u Tribe Select continues practicing in March • April season opening, MSBL Elite league June 1 – August 5th • Indians High School season starts • Memorial Day weekend for 15u team • 16u – 18u starts following week • All tournaments, no league play for HS teams • 15u/16u Tribe Select Team • Travel • Season ends by August 5th, 2012
Uniforms and Equipment Uniform and equipment costs are in addition to Indians player fees • Budget $200 to $300 for required uniforms and equipment Indians players are required to: • Wear complete team uniforms and use required equipment • PlayBall USA discounts • Returning players can use previous year uniforms/equipment
Financial Information Player fees all fees are cash discount price • 15u - $1,800 • 16u - $1700 • 18u - $1,500 • 14u Tribe Select - $1,975 • $350 initial payment to secure roster spot • Remaining amount split in to equal monthly payments over 8 months starting October 1 and ending on May 1 • Details on payment contract • Each player required to sell one $150 sponsorship by February 1 • There are no refunds of any kind for any reason
Financial Information Where the money goes: 30% Coaches (Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Off Season coaching) 20% Tournament and league entry fees 35% PlayBall USA membership and facility rental (clinics and practices) 5% Umpires and field rentals 10% Administrative expenses
Financial Information Items not covered in Indians player fees: • All uniform items and baseball equipment • Personal training lessons – purchased separately from PlayBall USA • Tournament gate fees – charged either to the team or individually • Travel expenses for out of town tournaments • Players stay with coach to strengthen team unity and save money • Typical hotel fee $150 for weekend tournament • Parent hotel costs additional
