SEMESTER 1: Programming in VB.NET using Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 • Programming is different from any other course taken • Extends the concept of computer programming from the Intro class • Teaches the steps to solve a problem using the computer • An interactive, object oriented, event driven language • State of the art technology

  4. SEMESTER 2: Programming in Java using BlueJ • Introduction to Java • Prepares students for the AP Computer Science A course • Object-oriented language features • Applets • Graphics
