  2. Dispensation of the Church Initial Conditions All Divine Institutions (Volition, Marriage, Family, and Nationalism) are in place. The Noahic Covenant remains in place as a permanent promise to man. The Abrahamic Covenant remains in place in a more fulfilled sense unto the provisions of salvation for all men (Gal 3:8), with fulfillment of its particular provisions for Israel deferred for a time (see below). The governing factors of conscience, the restraint of the Holy Spirit, civil government, and patriarchal rule are carried forward. Israel is set aside for a time as God’s agent in spiritual matters, though remains a set-apart nation unto God for future fulfillment of the Covenants and Promises (Rom 11). The Mosaic Law retains a historical agency, but has no role in the basis of personal spirituality, though its principles of holiness remain as a testimony to the righteousness of God and the sinfulness of man (1 Tim 1:8ff).
