Your own emergency numbers stored on the App for fast sending of messages An emergency “I am Safe” button that sends an SMS to reassure your family and friends if you are caught in the middle of a dangerous situation, and locatesyou. Permanent monitoring of your places of interest: receive in real time alerts (sms) about your chosen places of interest, as sent in by other users of the app in a radius of several kilometers. Real time push notifications about changes in flood warning levels on rivers that could affect you, near your places of interest (currently available in France and soon to be available elsewhere). The possibility to contact other users nearby who sent alerts, and who have given their consent to be contacted, to facilitate mutual support and quick assessmentof the situation. Running in English and French, soon Spanish requires only to be translated to become available to a new community of users. • The APP is constantly evolving with introduction of new phenomenon's after a consensus if found to identify markers or intensity and impacts. • The App being based on simple generic and not site specific description of environmental markers it can be understood easily by anyone • Only classical functions of Smartphone's are used making the App accessible to any possessor. • There is not geographical limit to the coverage, SIGNALERT is operational anywhere provided you have a EDGE, 3G, 4G, WIFI for internet.
