OBJECTIVES SS are expected to discuss : • The Industrial Revolution from its origin to its Postmodern perspectives • The birth and transformation/s of capitalism • The contemporary Italian and European Debate on the economic Crises • The contradictions of the Western system of productions from the point of view of different periods and text types • Analyse non linear texts • Generate argumentative texts in different formats according to purpose • Discuss and share reflection on relevant aspects of the problem studied • Explain the reason why Manchester is seen as A Case Study • Communicate in the target language with different actors • Experience public speaking • Present group tasks to different audiences

Jane has also been awarded the Marks and Spencer Sieff Award for ‘an individual based in the community, who has best collaborated with business to benefit society”. Jane has also been made aSinnott Fellow Jane isone of fifteen teachers across England to have been granted the fellowship by the Department for Children Schools and Families(DCSF) and National Union of Teachers (NUT).
