Constructing Border Ethnic Identities along the Frontier of Central and Eastern Europe

This analysis explores the formation of ethnic identities among ethnic minorities in the new European borderlands using four dyads and a sample size of 400 in each group. It examines various factors such as personal identity, ethnic self-identification, ethno-history, language usage, and more. The study also compares assimilation versus preservation of identity and the construction of ethnic and national communities.
