  7. Take periodic photographs Photos helped us to better visualize the lower garden in order to create a map. Photos also show the progression of your garden!
  8. In the fall, jot down: What grew well? What did not? Which crops grew well together? Did you grow too much of a crop or not enough? Disease, pest, water, etc. issues Was there anything you didn’t get a chance to grow? Was your compost pile convenient and successful?
