LBT Adaptive Optics meeting Arcetri - Feb. 21-24, 2005 LBT672 CONSTRUCTION - WHERE WE ARE • CONSTRUCTION: • all the components for BOTH units have been manufactured together • items still missing: • coldplate #2 (pending the measure of its backplate holespattern) • about 500 magnets (deliverd 100/month) • about 200 actuators inclding spares (new machining run after LBT672a is completed) • hub #1 and #2 • hexapod #2 ( ? ) • LBT672a INTEGRATION STATUS: • actuators coil winding - DONE, for both units • magnets integration - DONE • crates integration - DONE, for both units • BP-CP “dry integration” and alignment check - ONGOING
