  2. About OEA • OEA is a web based interface to perform activates like Activation/ Recharge and many more. To start of we are launching Activation and Recharge through OEA. • OEA is a very user friendly Web based interface which is similar to your Yahoo or Gmail. Basic computer operational knowledge is more than enough to work with OEA. • This Service is introduced to Save your valuable Time, Money and Manpower. • Basic requirement to use this service. One should have a PC with 512 KBPS internet service and a Unique User Name and Password. • This is a process to Queue up activations in server (not a online activation) . The Turn around time for one activation is 30 Minutes. • This is a single page operation unlike our Self care. • The URL to connect OEA are • https://oea.sundirect.in:5369/activation • https://oea.sundirect.in/activation

  3. Activation & Recharge Process through OEA

Activation Process • Each Disty will be provided with Unique Login ID and Password to work with OEA. • Following details are mandatory to Perform a activation in OEA. • Complete Name (First and Last Name) and Address of the customer. • SAF number. • Device details. • Smart Card number. • Set top box number. • Activation Voucher Pin number (1250). • Top-up Voucher Pin number (499/999). • Basic plan of the customer. • Your Distributor code.

OEA Menus • Home • To Come to the Main Menu • Load Activation • This is the page where we load or Feed in Customer information into system for activation. • Successful Activations • After processing the request, all the Successful activations will be listed in this page. • Failed Activations • After processing the request, all the unsuccessful or failed activations will be listed in this page. • Online Top-Up • This is the page where we do Top-Up for the existing customer account.

  9. Procedure to Load activaiton

  10. Load Customer Information • Customer Details • Fist name and Last name are mandatory. • Complete address of the customer. • After entering pin code and click Find! Button State / City information are automatically display • Activation Details • Key in Device details of the customer • STB, SC, Installation Voucher, Top up Voucher, DT-Code • Click Validate! Button. Which will check the details in the back end and the device details are correct you will get a Valid message or you will get error on the screen. Possible Error

Load Customer Information… Contd… • Ticket details • Installation / Agreement : • Agreement number is nothing but SAF number which is mandatory. • Solution and Notes: • Please mention the basic plan selected followed by Exec name (Person who is performing the activity) • Installation / Installation : • Solution and Notes: • Please mention the basic plan selected followed by Exec name (Person who is performing the activity) • Click Submit to upload the data for activation in Queue. Note : This screen will not tell us the status of Activation

  12. Procedure to Recharge

  13. Recharge Process • This Process enables the Disty to recharge accounts of Sun direct Customers across the Country. • Following details are mandatory to Perform a Recharge in OEA. • Smart Card number. • Top-up Voucher Pin number.

  14. OEA Top-up Engine • Key in the Valid SC number • Key in the Top-Up Voucher Pin Number. • please type the characters you see in the image below. • Click the Top-Up button to get the Top-Up done successfully. Top-Up Screen

  15. Procedure to view successful and unsuccessful (Failed)activation

Procedure to view successful and unsuccessful (Failed) activation • Following are key points while generating the Successful and Failed Activation Report. • Start date and End date should be in MM-DD-YYYY format. • Start date should be lesser than the End date. • Generate for limited days for faster result. • One page of the report will have 10 details

  17. Error during report generation If the Start date or End date are not keyed in correctly or in correct format you will get this error
