  1. Commercial Electric Water Heaters Rely on American.

  2. Commercial Electric Water Heaters American’s new line of commercial electric water heaters is designed to provide years of reliable operation in commercial applications. Surface Thermostat Commercial Electric (STCE) and Immersion Thermostat Commercial Electric (ITCE) models provide superior performance for all heavy duty commercial hot water needs. STCE ITCE

  3. Mission-Driven Reliability and Performance The American badge represents: • Heritage • Competitive spirit • An advocate for the independent wholesaler • Products designed to perform • Well-built for reliability We are revitalizing our efforts and supporting our partnerships to strengthen your business.

  4. Reliability and Longer Life • The STCE and ITCE models utilize gold plated elements providing superior scale resistance and longer life. • Tank interior is coated with glass specially developed for water heater use. This provides long-lasting protection against corrosion. • Foam insulation on the outside of the tank also reduces heat loss and is vermin-proof.

  5. Reliability and Longer Life These gold elements ensure an extended life for the heater and stability of temperature: • Resists corrosion, lime scale, calcium adhesion • Up to five times the scaling resistance of a standard incoloy element • Provides excellent electrical and thermal conductivity • Staggered elements allow maximum heat transfer and large surface area coverage.

  6. Advanced Control System • The ITCE models provide an advanced electronic control system with an easy to navigate menu displayed on an LCD screen. • Provides precise temperature control and unit operating information.

  7. Benefits of the Advanced Control System • The intelligent control system allows for precise temperature setting and will display the actual tank temperature at upper and lower probes. • The LCD displays detailed diagnostics including fault messages and runtime history. • Economy Mode option allows the system to automatically lower the operating set point by a programmed value during user-defined time periods. This feature helps to reduce operating costs during unoccupied or off-peak demand periods.

  8. Benefits of the Advanced Control System • Banks of heating elements are energized according to adjustable (1° to 20°) differential set points for each bank. Linear sequencing helps reduce current surge and provide accurate temperature control. As a result, this feature can reduce operating costs. • Alert messages aid in servicing by providing a list of possible fault causes. The alert also displays sequence of operation in real time and will indicate any failed elements.

  9. Other Product Features & Benefits Power Circuit Fusing Protects elements and contractors from short circuits, overloading or line surges Standard Voltages Easy installation Terminal Block Allows for easy service connection to block Two anode rods Maximum corrosion protection
