  1. GWG and the DISRonline What is the DISR How to access the GWG on DISRonline

  2. DISR • Provides DoD systems with the basis for seamless interoperability • The DISR is mandated for the management, development, and acquisition of new or improved IT systems throughout DoD • Standards and guidelines in the DISR are stable, technically mature, and publicly available

  3. DISRonline Who can have access: • DISRonline is limited to those who are directly involved in the development or support of projects, programs, or systems that make use of the DoD IT Standards Registry (DISR). • Government contractors are required to provide their current contract number and identify a military or government point of contact (POC) that can verify their justification for DISRonline access. The online repository of information related to DoD IT and NSS standards

DISRonline DISRonline contains: • A registry of DISR - prescribed standards and standards profiles • Non-mandated reference information provided for use by the acquisition community such as: • Emerging standards • Inactive/retired standards • Mission Area and Domain Standards profiles • Technology standards profiles • Program System Profiles (TV-1) • Interfaces to analysis tools and related repositories (e.g. DARS, JCPAT-E) • Software to assist in building standards profiles

GWG on the DISRonline How to Join: • Request a DISR account – Go to https://disronline.disa.miland select Request an Account Note: You must have a PKI Certificate or CAC card to access this website and must be directly involved in an activity that requires the use of the DISR registry to gain access to information other than certain reports or archival information. • Request to be on the GWG e-mail list server: gwg@disr-listserv.artelinc.com • Send an email to gwg-request@disr-listserv.artelinc.com requesting membership to the GWG distribution list. • You will receive a confirmation email. Follow the link contained in the email to confirm your request. This is to reduce spam. • The GWG Secretariat will receive your request and process it accordingly. • If approved, you will receive an email stating that you have been added to the GWG mailing list. You may now begin to use the GWG mailing list. Note: All GWG information is distributed via the GWG list server in addition to being posted to the GWG web site.
