GOLA • 665,000 on-line tests conducted in 2005-2006 • 1.43 million tests since we started SmartScreen – for learners and tutors • 141 qualifications on Smartscreen • 36,000 pages of support materials • 3,900 Smartscreen subscriptions Overall • 85+% of all transactions with centres and learners online – saving time and paper

Celebrating excellence • Celebrating excellence amongst our students with our Medals for Excellence scheme. • Supporting excellence in the world’s young people by sponsoring WorldSkills competitions and, with UKSkills, making a winning bid for WorldSkills 2011 to be held in the UK. • Preparing the UK for the 2012 Olympics – providing the necessary skills in construction, engineering, catering, leadership and management – and sport!
