  4. Upcoming meetings for an organizational unit The search tool is used to get a visual representation of scheduled meetings. Feeds are directly related to this information.

  5. View Feeds - IEEE vTools Meetings System If you choose to log in, click on the “View Feeds” link.

  6. Feeds for a particular user (R3, Alabama Section Volunteer) See the links for reports, upcoming meetings, and virtual meetings. vTools meeting queries can be highly specific but as an example, we will focus only on upcoming meetings.

  7. Upcoming R3 Meetings (RSS) Note that the meetings are shown in descending order based on the date published. This is a good way to keep up with activities of units but not necessarily for getting to the meeting!

  8. HTML View of Upcoming R3 Meetings Note these are in ascending order (asc).

  9. HTML Source of Upcoming R3 Meetings Note that html IDs and classes are used to differentiate content sections. These can be used with CSS (cascading style sheet) selectors to customize the look of meeting data.

  11. Text View of IEEE_meeting_feed.ics made from Upcoming R3 Meetings This Meetings feed can be used to populate dynamic calendar and event applications on the web. Entering the feed’s url into an application will provide periodic updates without the need to manually update events. Different ranges may be selected to enhance readability.
