  1. Cold Sky Calibration David Le Vine Algorithm Workshop March 9-11, 2010

  2. Step 1: Small Land Contamination The Aquarius ground track with FL 0.03% for descending (6 am, left panel) and ascending (6 pm, right panel) orbits. Color code: (LF < 0.01%), green (0.01% > LF  0.02%) and magenta (0.02% > LF  0.03%). The track in red track (ascending) is used in example computations.

  3. Step 2: Stable “Sky” Above Galactic background seen by the outer beam while in the inverted “cold sky” position. Data is for the week# 1. The left panel is for 6 AM and the right panel is for 6 PM.

  4. Step 3: Evalutate Total TA Total TA for inner beam (blue), middle beam (green) and outer beam (red). The data on left panel is for V polarization and on right panel is for H polarization. The computation is along the sample ascending track shown earlier in red.

  5. Step 3: Evalutate Total TA Total TA for inner beam (blue), middle beam (green) and outer beam (red). The data on left panel is for V polarization and on right panel is for H polarization. The computation is along the sample ascending track shown earlier in red.
