Day 2 objectives By the end of this day, participants will be familiar with the: • Concepts and steps for planning strategically. • Strategies for obtaining support for their proposal, within their association and externally • Concept of advocacy and strategies for advocating for their proposal • Range of project funding sources • Concept of risk, common risks and how to manage them • Process for developing a proposal for an association priority issue and its application. • The focus of Day 2 is national associations.
