  2. Faith is not limited to a “one time” event. It definitely has a beginning, but it demands a lifetime of practice and implementing. YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO GO BEYOND THE ABILITY AND STRENGTH OF YOUR FAITH!

Heb. 4:12 • James 1:25 • 1 Cor 1:21 ~ … it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. • 1 Cor 2:5 ~ that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. • John 20:31 ~ these are written that you may believe … • Acts 17:11-12 ~ … searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so. Therefore many of them believed • Eph 3:17 ~ that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith… • Col 3:16 ~ Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, … We cannot skip “hearing, reading” the message.

  10. The actions of their faith are the reasons these are listed here, not just the acknowledgement of their faith. Faith Grows When Faith Acts! Hebrews 11 “By faith …” A living faith is constantly responding to God’s Word! Hearing without a response does not bring faithfulness. It is hearing in order to do and obey that does.
