Cell Phone Policy Change at School Advocacy

In this 6th-grade project, Tyreke Gore advocates for overturning the ban on cell phones in school. He argues that having phones can aid communication on homework and family issues faster. The steps include student council involvement, discussions with the principal, and presenting to the board of education to promote change effectively.

  2. Problem • You can not use cell phones in school. • Because if it is a family issue your family member will text you or call you and tell you faster than going all the way to the office to the phone. • I want to be able to have a phone in school because people can tell me what homework I had to do when I was not here and I can do it.

  3. Steps • Be in student council • Talk to the principal • Talk to the board of education
