Article (166)- Labour law An employer shall provide occupational safety and health facilities at the workplaces in a manner ensuring protection from work hazards, especially the following hazards: Mechanical hazards. Hazards arising from dealing with solid, liquid or gaseous chemicals. Natural hazards affecting the worker's safety and health. Fire hazards. Hazards arising from the lack of security. The Minister shall, upon seeking the opinion of the concerned authorities, issue an order determining the necessary conditions and precautions for protection against work hazards.

  16. Any person who violates any of the provisions of Part Fifteen and Orders issued for its implementation shall be liable for a prison sentence for a period not exceeding three months and a fine of no less than Bahrain Dinars five hundred and not exceeding Bahrain Dinars one thousand or by either penalty.
