Extended Response On the first page of the story, Papá says “Once we cross la frontera, we’ll make a good living in California”.  Having finished the book along with viewing multiple videos on migrant workers, do you think this is true? Do you think it is worth coming to the United States? Do you think migrant workers lives are better or worse? Why? Use examples from the book as well as the videos to support your answers. Lesson 9
